When we were helping at the Vacation Bible School It felt great to know that even though many of those kids are homeless they had a nice place to go, and that we could help them enjoy it. I also know a few of us bonded with the kids from Virginia to form fast friendships. On Friday working at the middle school may not have been my favorite activity but I feel I like we really helped out. So when school starts we can go up to some of our friends and say this summer I helped make the outside of the middle school better. So Fish was definitely a worthwhile and amazing experience.
