Honoring Officer Bremer

As many of you may know, the other week we lost one of Frederick County’s most courageous men; Officer Mark Bremer. Officer Bremer was on a car chase in the middle of the night , and he lost control of his car. Later  that morning morning Officer Bremer died. Many, including  the City Police cheif said that Officer Bremer loved his job. He truly died doing what he loved most. He died protecting you and I.  Although this has been a very hard time for his family, friends, and the entire  police force; just by looking at photos I could tell that God was in and with  each and every person that attended his funeral. God is with the family and friends. He has wrapped his arms around them in their time of need and given them hope even though they may feel there is none. What amazes me most though, is that God was in the hundreds of officers that came together  to honor their fallen brother.  God was in each and everyone of them and it amazes me that even in the midst of this hard time all of these people many who didn’t even know him, came to give him the respect he deserves for protecting us. The picture I posted along with this is of the very begining of the funeral procession that stopped traffic for an hour.  It just serves as a reminder that no matter what your going through an no matter how tragic God is always there to wrap his arms around you and serve as a comfort in your time of need.
