Weekend Wrap-Up

Over the river and through the woods, to the Salisbury’s farm we go!!! This Sunday, we helped out at the MUMC Holy Ghost Party at the Salisbury’s for a couple hours. We hosted a face painting station, a Christian pumpkin-making table, a relay race, and a bobbing for apples game. Later on, there was a hide-and-seek Trick-or-Treat, where the kids ran all over the farm to find the youth, hidden with candy! After the kids left, we had a bonfire and cooked hot dogs and made s’mores (many hot dogs were unedible.) We played tennis on the court there, as well as volleyball, basketball, ping-pong (Go Mrs. Posey!) and fishing in the lake. Only a few people dressed up in costumes- but the gold medal would have to go to Eduardo as Barack Obama (complete with the mole!) This was a great time to serve God by helping out the kids, but also have lots of fun at the same time!
